LuxGroup Foundation Lights Up the Ha Giang Karst Plateau: Spreading Happiness through Sustainable Tourism and ESG
Ha Giang (former province, now part of Tuyen Quang), Vietnam – September 20, 2025 – Celebrating its 20th anniversary, LuxGroup® and its philanthropic arm – LuxGroup Foundation – proudly completed the “Lighting Up the Karst Plateau” project in Lung Sinh Village, Pho Bang Commune. This UNESCO-recognized Karst Plateau, once part of Ha Giang Province and now administratively part of Tuyen Quang, became the stage of a meaningful milestone.
This initiative is not mere charity, but a testament to LuxGroup’s philosophy: luxury is not only for indulgence, but also for sharing; not only for travelers, but also for communities.
Light – A Symbol of Trust and Happiness
For centuries, the Karst Plateau has been a land of both grandeur and hardship. After dusk, villagers faced danger on steep, rocky paths. On September 20, 2025, the glow of 30 solar-powered lights transformed the darkness into safety, order, and hope.
Light brought more than visibility:
• Children can now study and play safely.
• Villagers can travel at night without fear.
• The community grows closer and warmer.
The emotional highlight was the first-ever Mid-Autumn Festival for 78 children in Lung Sinh. Under the full moon and the new solar lights, lanterns sparkled, songs filled the air, and laughter echoed across the mountains. Many elders were moved to tears, witnessing a sacred moment of happiness and connection.
In addition, LuxGroup Foundation donated rice, blankets, and financial aid to three disadvantaged households, including a grandmother in her sixties raising seven orphaned grandchildren. Her tears of gratitude reflected the profound human impact of the project.
