An Ideal Summer Cruise Experience on Heritage Bình Chuẩn for the Family
This summer, my family of six enjoyed a wonderful vacation aboard the Heritage Bình Chuẩn cruise, exploring the stunning Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long Bay. This truly was an ideal journey for the entire family, filled with unique and enriching experiences.
As its name suggests, Heritage Bình Chuẩn is a mobile art piece, a living museum on the sea. Every corner of the cruise ship is imbued with historical and cultural stories, offering us a sense of both relaxation and learning. My children were particularly captivated by the tales shared by our enthusiastic guide, Tung Anh, who was always ready to share his knowledge and experiences.
Before the trip, my parents were quite apprehensive as it was their first time sleeping on a cruise ship. However, the smooth voyage through the wonders of nature brought them great comfort. The luxurious cabins, equipped with “super king-size beds” and fresh fruit, were a delight. Even my mother, who often suffers from seasickness and insomnia, found the environment relaxing and comfortable.
The activities on the cruise were varied and suited all ages in our family. After a buffet lunch on board, we chose to kayak and explore the Bright and Dark Caves. This is an experience not to be missed when visiting Lan Ha Bay, as gliding on the clear waters while admiring the pristine and majestic scenery is truly amazing.
In the afternoon, we returned to the ship, enjoyed a cocktail party, and relaxed by the pool, one of the unique amenities of Heritage Bình Chuẩn compared to other cruises in Lan Ha and Ha Long Bay. The cooking class was also an exciting activity, especially for our children, who had the chance to make delicious banh xeo (Vietnamese pancakes) for the first time.
In the evening, we donned traditional costumes and enjoyed a set menu dinner accompanied by soothing music. After the meal, we participated in squid fishing, watched a movie, and listened to the children play the piano in the lounge. These moments not only brought joy but also created a special bond among our family members.
What impressed me most was the professional and attentive crew on Heritage Bình Chuẩn. They were always ready to assist us at any time and in any situation. The meticulous care and attention they showed towards my mother and children throughout the journey deeply touched me. The image of the Heritage Bình Chuẩn crew placing their hand on their heart and smiling brightly whenever they met guests left a lasting impression on me.
On the second day, we continued exploring other interesting spots in Lan Ha Bay. We took a short boat trip to visit a floating fishing village and learned about the lives of the local fishermen. My children were thrilled to see firsthand how the locals raise fish and other seafood, providing a valuable and meaningful educational experience.
In the afternoon, we returned to the cruise ship and enjoyed our final hours on the deck, gazing at the vast and majestic sea. The whole family participated in a relaxing yoga session, helping us balance our minds and bodies.
The 2-day voyage on Heritage Bình Chuẩn gave my family unforgettable experiences. I believe that spending at least 3 to 4 days would allow one to fully enjoy all that the Heritage Bình Chuẩn cruise has to offer, as there are many more fascinating activities we didn’t have enough time to explore.
Certainly, we will return to Heritage Bình Chuẩn in future vacations and will recommend this wonderful journey to our friends. Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long Bay are not only breathtakingly beautiful but also offer us precious moments and memorable experiences with our family.
