Lux Travel DMC proudly received its first-ever nomination for the “World’s Leading Luxury Tour Operator 2023” at the World Travel Awards (WTA).

Lux Travel DMC, Vietnam’s first luxury travel company and a member of the LuxGroup conglomerate, proudly received its first-ever nomination for the “World’s Leading Luxury Tour Operator 2023” at the World Travel Awards (WTA).

Following its national and continental accolades, Lux Travel DMC (www.luxtraveldmc.com) has now been nominated for the prestigious global award. According to the press release from the Grand Final Tour of the WTA – World Travel Awards 2023, Lux Travel DMC has made it to the shortlist in the highly competitive category of “World’s Leading Luxury Tour Operator 2023.

The Grand Final Tour of the World Travel Awards 2023 will bring together outstanding entities and renowned brands in the fields of tourism, aviation, hotels, resorts, travel companies, transportation, cruises, and tourist destinations. These entities have triumphed in the regional-level World Travel Awards after rigorous rounds of voting.

This year, Lux Travel DMC has surpassed many formidable candidates from five continents and various territories, most of which are multinational corporations with long-established histories, to secure its nomination for the “World’s Leading Luxury Tour Operator 2023.” Winning this award would be akin to the Oscars of the global travel industry.

Notably, this marks the first time a 100% privately-owned luxury travel company in Vietnam has received a nomination at the global stage and the chance to earn this prestigious title. To secure this accolade, Lux Travel DMC requires the highest number of votes from travel industry experts and high-level executives from over 140 countries and territories worldwide.

Earlier in September 2023, Lux Travel DMC was honored to win two significant awards at the World Travel Awards 2023 for the second consecutive year. These awards included “Vietnam’s Leading Destination Management Company” and “Asia’s Leading Luxury Tour Operator 2023,” both presented in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Lux Travel DMC, operating within the LuxGroup (www.luxgroup.vn) conglomerate, has built a strong reputation over nearly two decades in the fields of restaurants, hotels, cruises, and travel services. The company has excelled in serving both international and premium outbound customers through its premium brand, Premium Travel, and its luxury brand, Luxury Travel. Additionally, LuxGroup operates Lux Limo to cater to customers seeking private and comfortable transportation.

LuxGroup also manages the Emperor Cruises and Heritage Cruises brands, which operate on the sea and rivers, exploring some of the most beautiful coastal areas in Vietnam. The visionary leadership of CEO Pham Ha has led this cruise fleet to build 30 new vessels in Vietnam and become the first to cruise the coastal waters of Vietnam, offering Vietnamese tourists a unique sea journey.

The location of the gala event has yet to be revealed. The World Travel Awards gala, often referred to as the Oscars of the travel industry, typically celebrates leading brands in the field and takes place in November each year after the continental awards have been presented, gathering the best of the best from around the world. Last year, the WTA Grand Final Tour was held in Oman, the Middle East, where Vietnam claimed eight of the most prestigious awards in the global tourism and travel industry
